Here at Dee Cee Upholstery we continue our 25 Years of Comfort celebrations by opening Southampton's first and only showroom dedicated to motion furniture. The new show room, aptly named "The Comfort Zone", is located at 496 Portswood Road, just 2 doors down from the main premises. The Comfort Zone hosts a range of power lifter-recliners as well as speciality products such as the "XL" (lifts up to 35 stone) and the lifter-riser converter, which transforms a normal chair into a lifter-riser chair.
Buying a recliner or lifter-recliner from Dee Cee Upholstery, means that you can benefit from their skills as Master Upholsterers. The furniture can be customised to suit your specific needs, something a regular retailer would not be able to do. "For example, we can make the chair easier to access from a wheel chair by removing an armrest or add features such as a swivel base", says works manager Tom Burrows. Dee Cee Upholstery are Southampton's only stockist of the world renowned La-Z-Boy brand, and with two showrooms you can see an extensive range of recliners and matching 2 and 3-seat sofas. In order to provide you with even greater choice, we have now added another quality UK brand to our range, Celebrity, who recently won an award for their new "petite" recliner.
