Spring Interior Trends 2016

With Spring officially sprung, the team here at Dee Cee Upholstery present their favourite seasonal trends to inspire you and your home. From new suites to subtle succulents, discover the must-have looks to incorporate into your décor in our latest blog.

Fresh Spring Greens

Bring the outdoors in with fresh hints of spring green. The Sherborne Rembrant sofa suite presented in a light sage provides a beautifully modern look in a shape that will suite a variety of interior styles. Call us for more details on 02380 555 888.

Rustic Wood Finishes

Aged wooden furniture, whether authentic or distressed is big news this year and contrasts beautifully against contemporary décor schemes for a subtle vintage twist. Unpainted wood also allows the furniture to be celebrated in its truest form for an honest approach to design. We’ve picked out ladder shelving and office desks as subtle ways to introduce this look.

Colour Pops

Unexpected colour pops on items such as ceramics have the power to create a feature all of its own which could also be used as accents throughout the room. Why not combine two trends in one and house succulents or ferns in your ceramics – this is a super simple DIY task too.

Rattan

One furniture trend destined to be big in 2016 is Rattan furniture. However if you don’t fancy going all out with a new dining set, invest in a simple ottoman instead. We found the one pictured from Ikea.

Geometrics

Geometrics are everywhere this year, on the walls, on the floor, on beds; everywhere. We personally love to see them in soft furnishings, especially rugs as they provide an easy update which have the power to transform the look and feel of an entire room.
